Crypto Coffee was born in Brisbane in 2020 — a roastery and coffee bar built on the same principle as the asset it’s named after: cut out the middleman.
Why “Crypto” Coffee?
We started Crypto Coffee because we were tired of two things at once: bad coffee, and paying 2.9% to a payment processor every time a customer bought a $5 flat white. Bitcoin gave us a way to take payment direct-to-wallet. Specialty roasting gave us a way to deliver coffee worth paying for. The two ideas became one shop.

The shops
We run two cafes in Brisbane — our flagship at South Brisbane, and a CBD-adjacent grab-and-go on 375 Turbot St, Spring Hill. Both shops accept cash, card, and crypto (BTC, ETH, USDT, USDC, SOL, XRP, LTC, DOGE), and both run on the same in-house POS, KDS, and membership system we built ourselves.
